For the second time the representative of Kvant-Efir Ivan Omelianiuk gave a presentation (Global Impacts: How Has Digital Switchover Survived/Thrived During the Recession?) at the international conference Digital Switchover Strategies 2010 in London on Februay 2.

The presentation provided an overview of the main features of the TV market in CEE EU countries and former the USSR republics, the key aspects of the digital switchover process in the target countries, gave focused case studies on the impacts of the global recession, and offered the best practices to address the impact in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.

The participation in the events of such scale indicates the significance of experience and substantial skills of the Ukrainian media experts in the worldwide digital switchover process.
